Kiddy Craft Bags
I'm so happy! I recently purchased a new sewing machine. The one I've been using prior was my MILs, and it was just a cheaper one from Target. It sewed, but was nothing fancy. Now, I got myself a Brother. It even has a fancy computerized screen! (I know, some of you might have super fancy ones, but this is so new to me!!!) It even has different feet! I can quilt now!!! (which I will work on soon.)
So - my SIL who is a quilter was visiting this weekend, and I made THESE fancy bags. I didn't have a charm pack, so I just bought the fabric and cut the 5x5 squares myself :D
Aren't they cute? One is for my little man, one for my little nephew! I've only ever really done basic sewing, so I'm proud of myself for all the pockets and the crayon holders!!! (Pats self on back)
I'm now working on pincushions and a table runner for the MIL. I'm working up to a big quilt! :D
Happy Crafting Kiddos!!!

Delicious Penne with Creamy Tomato Sauce
What awesomeness can you make with these few ingredients?
Yeah, its this:
mmmm
My husbands friend is a manager at Jerry's Famous Deli so we enjoy going there often. Recently, I only order the same thing. The Penne with Creamy Tomato Sauce. I wanted to try making it at home. How hard could it be right? Here's what you'll need. *you can half this recipe*
2 bags of Penne
2 jars of Traditional Prego
1 pint of Heavy Whipping Cream
1 1/2 - 2 Parmesan Cheese
Cook up the pasta. Heat up the Prego sauce. Add the cream and the cheese and mix well. Heat up and mix together with cooked Penne. Enjoy!

Moda Bake Shop
Okay, so I might be a bit slow, and my wonderful readers might already know about this lovely site but..
After re-reading a lot of SewDangCutes posts, I went to the Moda Bake Shop website. I love it! So far I've saved three posts I really love! You all need to go there and check out their adorable patterns! The best part is they have super easy directions to follow and very thorough tutorials. Everyone go click and read! :D

Bridal Shower Gift for Amy
Last Saturday I went to a Bridal Shower for my cousin-to-be Amy.
Aren't the the cutest couple? Well, they had the bridal shower last week and are getting married in April. I decided to do a homemade gift this year, but I couldn't decide. So instead of a cute theme, or just one gift, I made a bunch of things and gave them to her. I think that she'll enjoy it even without a theme ;)
The first thing that I really wanted to do because I saw it on SEW DANG CUTE. I couldn't figure our the tutorial (it was early in the morning) so I sent of my picture to Tam and she sent this back to me:
I made a color copy and a black and white copy and framed the color one and gave the black and white as an extra.
I wanted to do a cute apron but didnt have a lot of scrap fabric big enough. I looked online for some cute ideas to make with old Jeans for an apron and this is what I came up with. I took mostly ideas from one site MyBrydHouse
Who knew that she would get 5 aprons? Mine was the only homemade one, but also the only half apron.
I also had an idea for a old clock that I had cracked the front clear cover on
The favorite part that I made was the Fabric Dryer Sheets. I have been looking online a lot lately for ways to save money and have been excited to run across the idea of fabric dryer sheets. I got busy and made a handful so I might be adding some to my etsy shop. I also gave her my cell number in case she didnt see the directions on how to use them. :D
I also gave her some smaller things. I made some felt flowers using the tutorial from TheHowToGal. Ive expanded on her tutorial and will show you my other creations soon. I also sent a scrubby dish cloth, a picnic roll, a bling ring keychain from work, and a set of magnetic mod podged clothespins.
I hope she enjoys the group of gifts and has time to check them out later (she looked at most of it at the shower but I wrapped it so that she could look at the smaller things later).

Blog Swap with SewDangCute!!!
Hello "Honey Bee Buzz" readers! I'm thrilled to be swapping blogs for the day with Melissa and Tiffany. How fun would it be to do a craft blog with your best friend and sister?! I love it!! I'm Tam from Sew Dang Cute. Wife to my best friend, and SAHM to three beautiful children. Two girls and one boy, ages 4, 3, and 9 months. I'm a cycle and group fitness instructor, addicted triathlete, and am currently training for my first half IronMan in June.
Whenever I can, I like to fit in some craft time. I recently became a "chef" over at Moda Bake Shop, and get to post "recipes"over there. I'm really excited about an Easter project I'm doing with the new fabric line Botany. It's top secret until next Friday, so be sure to watch for it!!!
I love sharing tutorials with my readers. I've got various sewing ones, as well as some crafty ones like this Proclamation to the Family Photo Overlay: I also offer a variety of products that are available for purchase. If you don't see exactly what you are looking for, I would love to do a custom order for you, like these.
Maybe all you need is fabric? I am now a retailer of Moda Fabric and have just started selling, including the beautiful lines Blush and Make Life. Another of my loves is cooking. Come join me in 2010 as I review 100 recipes, in an attempt to organize my recipe drawer and weed out the worthy and not-so-much. One other thing I've just started is a link party called "Get Inspired". We get to share our projects we've done for the week, whether it's cooking, sewing, crafting, whatever! Be sure to link up this week, I'll be featuring my favorites on Sunday!
Come on over and check me out! I do giveaways quite frequently for my faithful followers *hint, hint*.
Thanks Melissa and Tiffany for blog swapping with me today!!! You guys are AWESOME!
-Thanks Tam! We love her blog! As part of the swap, we are doing a giveaway, but you have to visit Sew Dang Cute to enter!

ETSY SALE
My sister and I are working on a collaborative etsy shop. It is still in the works, so I am trying to clean out some of the items in my etsy shop before the "grand opening". I have listed everything at 30% OFF. Go check it out and hopefully you like something! Have a great night!
Crochet Dishcloths
So - I have to admit it, even when I don't need yarn, if it's a killer deal I buy it! Yes, I have a large rubbermaid tub full of unused yarn. Yes, I still recently picked up 10 small skiens of it! All for a good cause - drum roll please - dishcloths. There are so many ways to make adorable washcloths. So many patterns to choose from, so many colors, so many ways to make them my own. The best part of it is, they are so nice to use! I love them. I don't have to purchase any dishcloths because I make them my own!!! :D
Here are all the lovely colors I have for dishcloths. The hubby helped pick out a bunch. I realized, after crocheting some dishcloths up, that I don't have but one solid color! Maybe there will be another sale and I can remedy that! :D
I also tried two new patterns out. Both have "nobbs" or "bubbles" on them to help you scrub dirty pans! I think I have dishcloth fever!
