Freezer Paper Stenciling - Saint Patty's Day

I wanted to make something for Saint Patrick's day this year.  I haven't done a lot for the "in-between" holidays.  So, I called up my good friend Katie and grilled her about freezer paper stenciling.  Now I have a new favorite project. I wanted to have cute shirts for my husband and my son. and I wanted something funky that I could wear more than just on St. patty's day.

First, I borrowed my mother in laws cricut and cut out my freezer paper.

Here is the little one's shirt.  It says Lucky2.

I ironed on the freezer paper and painted it with fabric paint.

Here is the finished shirt.  My baby is so lucky.

This is the best picture I could get of them in their shirts.  Jesse has been a little under the weather lately.

I tried mine on with my PJ's and hair in a mess, so I cropped it.  I wanted the tree/vine to go up the side/front of the shirt.

  2. WOW. I'm surprised...so just fabric paint? I think we are going to try this. And freezer paper? what exactly is that? ANd how do you keep it down so the paint doesnt get under it?

Why is your moms Cricut red? Mine is just normal color.
