White Chili

Vernita’s Delicious White Chili








1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast cooked and shredded



1 medium onion chopped



1 ½ tsp garlic powder



2 cans northern white beans rinsed and drained



1 can chicken broth



2 cans (4 oz each) chopped green chilies



1 tsp salt



1 tsp ground cumin



1 tsp oregano



½ tsp black pepper



¼ tsp cayenne pepper







Bring to a boil, and then simmer uncovered 30 minutes







Right before serving add:



1 cup sour cream



½ cup whipping cream (or ½ cup canned milk)

  2. I've never tried making white chili. Actually, I've never made chili at all. But this sounds quite delicious. I'll have to give it a try now.
